FANTASTIC presentation last night! Thanks for making a difficult topic fun, informative and REAL.Workshop Attendee
I have personally known and worked alongside Dr.Sheridan for over ten years. I initally met her in a clinical setting treating behaviorally unwell adolescent females. I was impressed by her attentiveness and empathy directed to her patients. She was able to quickly earn their trust and found creative, out of the box interventions to help these girls better cope with the stresses of their young lifes. Dr. Sheridan has blossomed into an innovative therapist and consultant. I have personally made multiple referrals to her over the years. She is responsive, compassionate and ethical in the treatment of those she serves.Rahul N. Mehra, M.D.

Words Matter. Why the Sayreville H.S. Football Case Isn’t a “Hazing Scandal”. It’s About Keeping the Silence and it’s About RAPE.

Monday night, at 7:55pm, while my kids were walking in and out of the family room pretending to brush their teeth, they begged to watch a little bit of the Grammy’s before bed. I agreed with trepidation, knowing that some … Continue reading
Today, I talked very seriously about consent and impulse control, challenging the notion that “boys will be boys” during an interview about the 6 year old in Colorado accused of sexual harassment. Directly after that, I headed over to the … Continue reading
Dear Mr. Lookadoo, We (along with most of the internet) recently heard about your presentation at Richardson High School. The students’ outrage shed light on your views of the “dateability” of children and how rigid, harmful notions of gender roles … Continue reading
Remember the 1992 United States men’s Olympic basketball team? The “Dream Team” was the first US Olympic team to feature active NBA players. Journalists regarded it as the greatest sports team ever assembled, and the Basketball Hall of Fame deemed … Continue reading
